The COPS Training Portal is pleased to announce the availability of a new course, Drug Identification and Recognition: Hallucinogens, created by the National Criminal Justice Training Center of Fox Valley Technical College (NCJTC).
Drug Identification and Recognition: Hallucinogens is an interactive course in a series of Drug Identification Training modules. The other courses in this series are The Opioid Crisis in America; Stimulants, Depressants, Antidepressants and Inhalants, and Dissociative Anesthetics. This course discusses various types of commonly abused hallucinogens and current trends relating to these substances. It is designed to help law enforcement officers and other criminal justice professionals employ the appropriate actions and safety measures when responding to illicit drug-related events.
Participants should expect to spend approximately 1 hour exploring the content and resources in this course.
